Welcome to the Polynesian Joe's leagues. I would like to get as many people involved in the leagues as possible, so I ask each captain to arrange for substitutes from outside the league if you know ahead of time that someone on your team will be absent. At the beginning of each season I send a roster to everyone in the league that has a list of substitutes at the bottom of the page. These are people who either are on the waiting list to be fulltime players, or they are people who just couldn't commit to playing each week but are willing to substitute when their schedules permit. Please call on one of these alternates (even at the last minute) if you know you will need a substitute.
